  Considered to be the final stage of Editing, this service generally is selected once your manuscript has been professionally edited, fully refined and you are happy with the narrative in its current state. Copy Editing involves the most intense form of checking and should always be carried out by a professional book copy editor. They search for many forms of inconsistencies, in punctuation and spelling but also factual cross-referencing and continuity errors, just to name a few. Our Copy Editor will first assess your manuscript to check the level of copy editing that will be required. Depending on how many issues are found, it will be allocated into one of the three categories below and you will receive a quote code to progress your order. Please Note: Do not select this service if you are planning on making any further changes to your narrative.  

Manuscript Copy Editing Service

  Professional Manuscript Copy Editing Service by one of our in house Copy Editors. This is considered to be one of the final stages of Editing and it involves the lowest form of checking. They check for many forms of inconsistencies, punctuation, spelling, consistent use of punctuation, factual cross-referencing. All changes will be tracked so that you will have the chance to review them once it returns. You'll also receive a second clean revised copy. This is the version to use if submitting to agents and publishers. Once you've sent your manuscript in for copy edit review, you will be notified on whether it will need Light, Standard or Extensive Copy Editing depending on the number of inconsistencies and issues found.
